SWIMMING POOL EQUIPMENT INSTALLER

Badger Swimpools began constructing aquatic facilities in 1957. Founded as a small contractor that specialized in simple swimming pools in the Wisconsin Dells area.  Today, we are widely regarded as an innovative leader in the development and evolution of state-of-the-art waterparks and aquatic facilities.

Badger Swimpools is a Union Contractor.  We are signatory with the Carpenters and Laborers Unions.  Salary will commensurate with experience.

The swimming Pool Equipment Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of swimming pool equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Installation and Setup:  Install, assemble, and configure swimming pool equipment, including but not limited to pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems, and water circulation components.
2. Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to swimming pool equipment.  Replace or repair faulty components as needed.
3. Plumbing and Low Voltage Electrical Work: Perform plumbing and electrical work associated with pool equipment installation and repair, including connecting pipes, valves, wiring and controls in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
4. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols and regulations during equipment installations and repairs.
6. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, including supervisors, sales representatives, and support staff to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High School Diplomas or equivalent
• Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, or mechanical systems installation is preferred, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of swimming pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems would be helpful.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Some travel will be required.
